Static is a painting reminiscent and inspired of a throwback to our youth, resembling an enhanced cross-section and the Cubistic pattern of a disco ball. I manipulated and reconstructed these enlarged forms while adding neon and fluorescent tones to evoke the senses and notions, sparking energy, fun, and joy.
